Genealogy
Introduction
Ancestral research has become a very popular and rewarding pastime. We
hope to help Clan Maclaine members in their genealogical efforts by providing
some of the tools, links and information that may be necessary to successfully
research and trace their ancestors. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot
answer specific questions for members concerning their ancestors nor can
we perform research for any individual. We can only provide direction
and suggestions for further research by our members. However, we are hopeful
that over time we will be able to accumulate a great deal of information
in an on-line database concerning our ancestors and maybe even be able
to link together our many families. Therefore, we ask for your help and
support in this endeavor. The information to support this database will
primarily be supplied by our membership. After researching your ancestors,
we would ask that you submit this research to our database to help other
Clan members in their research and to also help us develop the links between
your individual family trees. Your information can be submitted Michael
McLain who is the Clan Maclaine of Lochbuie genealogist at the following
